Hey guys I have teamed up with IDEE Eyewear and will be coming up with what I call the IDEE series. I am all stirred up to create some zesty content for eye wears that I have selectively hand picked. I am so excited about this project!
The Sentimental Geek Featuring IDEE Eyewear
Hanging with a bunch of friends over warm cups of coffee last weekend, sparked off random conversations. One of which was their thought on women with glasses. Are women with glasses less attractive? Or is it just a false assumption? I have often seen in movies/ television how a girl with specs feels about herself especially when all of sudden her crush shows up. The first thing that is desecrated are the goddamn glasses!
– “They aren’t mine!!
– “Oh my God! I hope he didn’t see me with these silly frames’
– I gotte get rid of these spectacles before I’m caught in a cuff”!
Hey Woman! Relax! He isn’t going to love your eyes less because you have glasses on and if he does then he isn’t the right guy!’
My story – I love eyewear! My fixation for this accessory has never worn out. As a little girl, I recall vividly being inspired by the character Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) from The X-Files, I wanted to ape her by wearing those thin rim frames that would amplify my grey matter. Every time my school broke for vacation I would come down to Mumbai and look forward to shopping at Fashion Street, the once upon a time boisterous shopping haven. I was drawn to tiny thrift shops that sold sunglasses and eye frames. Those glasses made me believe I would look all grown up and pretty. I still believe they do!
IDEE eyewear has rekindled my love affair for eye glasses. They make me feel like a woman on top of things in every way! Wink Wink! It is contemporaneous exquisitely designed and pack a powerful punch! The past the present and the future is all mine with my Idee eyewear! Yes I am a sentimental Geek 🙂
