A Pajama Party .. The Wooplr Story

Pajama Situation 1:

In 2015..

Girl 1: ‘Hey are you invited to that party?’ ‘The dress code is Pajamas!!!!

Girl 2: ‘You Kidding me! Who wears pajamas to a party?? Only a moron would. Count me out!’

Pajama Situation 2 :

In 2016..

Girl 1: ‘Hey are you invited to that cool party? The dress code is Pajamas!!!’

Girl 2 : ‘Oh my God! That is so dope! Hell yes! I’m going shopping.. wanna join??

And that’s how fashion trends eventually become fashion or fashionable.

When I came across this spring summer 16’ trend on the runways as well as streets, I was pretty intrigued.

Givenchy , Micheal Kors, Rag&Bone, Ralph Lauren & many more showcased the silk and lace slouchy sleep wear.

To see the effortlessly stylish Rihanna stepping out of clubs wearing the PJ set didn’t seem that bad. I decided to give this trend a shot and share MY fashion verdict with you.

My Pajama Story :

I would have never imagined wearing a pair of Jimmy Choos on a pajama suit. But with the ever-changing and ever-fleeting fashion seasons, my fashion sensibilities change too. I get inspired by textures, colors, silhouettes etc. This time it had to be the Pajama Trend.

I got this bold tropical print summery-silk Pajama gear from Koovs and I was already in love.

My Pajama Verdict :

Personally I have come to like this trend. It seems like the most comfortable outfit ever!!! Of course weren’t you wearing these separates to bed all these years until 2016??.

I styled my slouchy wear with suede black stilettos and a black envelope clutch. As I didn’t want to keep my neck bare, I chose to wear the perfect and most trendy black velvet choker. I threw on my mercury Lennon sunnies and off I was riding on horses. My bedtime wear is officially my day time wear. Yes I would wear them again, may be to a dinner or a girlfriend’s bachelorette. The options are plenty.

Oh I got to rush…See you at the carousel party!

P.s Don’t forget that dress code.. It’s Pajamas !
