Lipstick stain

The first thing that ran through my mind, when i saw this big-pout-lipstain crop top was the 2009 song ‘Hey Soul Sister’ by the American rock band Train. The song goes like this..

‘Your Lipstick stain on the front part of my Left side brain, i knew I wouldn’t forget you and so I went and let you blow my mind’.

This cutesy crop top reminds me of all those lipstick stains that one would want to get rid off for various reasons, while I on the other side wanting to flaunt them! Yeah you can call me a hopeless romantic, a sentimental dreamer, a fairytale believer and all of that. That’s me for you! 🙂

This outfit is more like a romantic fairytale. Its a concoction of everything that signifies the four letter word LOVE – The rose, the kiss, the stains and of course the romance. Before i get all tizzy over my romantic shenanigans let me share with you the nitty gritty of my look. This well fitted mid rise pastel pink pencil skirt crafted from a stretch fabric forms the perfect base. I went one step ahead and flung my white vest over my quirky crop top as i believe layering my ensemble accentuates my body type. I meticulously chose my foot wear as I wanted to go with something that will blend in with the color scheme of my separates rather than stand out. I chose my pastel pink stilettos. Keeping the jewelry minimal, i strapped on these modish trendy cuffs and my go to accessory, my watch. Voila!
