Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2016 –

The year has begun with some of the most eclectic designers and designs to watch out for. This Summer/Resort 16 is all about breezy silhouettes, oh so relaxed and comfort slouchy pieces to brocades of Banaras and head turning structures.

Coming to all things makeup & hair, one couldn’t miss taking notice of the illuminating and dewy look. This season was all about soft tint cheeks, lip stains and illuminating skin.

There’s no doubt that this ‘raw defined’ dewy look has become my personal favourite. I quite loved the different hairstyles designers opted for. From Slick backs to half crimped hair, all adding the right bit of drama.

This season also introduced the bespoke electronic wearable techno fashion created in Berlin. Glowing prét-a-porter designs from ElektroCouture by Lisa Lang.

Elektro Couture is the world’s first ready-to-wear fashion technology laser cut necklaces, knitted garments that glowed. Light wearable with light technology, it was incredible inspiration out of a very fashionable future.

Coming to my favourite part – streetstyle! From stylists, fashion bloggers to models, each one carried an interesting element of style this season.

I chose to go minimalistic this season. From casual distressed denims , sporty pencil skirt to customised digital shirt and cut out cotton tunic. I was all set to beat the heat! Do check out my #ootd for each day at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort ’16. Staring from Day 1 …
