Hotel Room

A morning like this – When you don’t have to bother about the creepy sun creeping ever so slightly through the curtains, throw your sheets back over your head, snooze till you want, the bloody alarm can go for a morning walk while you snuggle and don’t forget to cuddle! Stand under the shower with no agenda! No mental notes racing in your head and jarring your brain! No pressure whatsoever to look good but look good anyway!! Powder your nose, smack some mascara on and jump right back into bed till the sun don’t go down! Sounds like a weekend? Nah! Sounds like my kinda luxury. Waking up and nowhere to hustle, no train to catch. That my friend is luxury! In my Hotel Room 🙂

Flip through fashion magazines and get the low down on the high town, surf through TV channels and forget to stop. Brew some coffee for a dozen and drink it alone. Strike a pose like it’s for the cover of Vogue, stand in the balcony with a red cape, feel the energy of superwoman pass through like greased lightning. Don’t jump off the balcony to rescue a man in distress but jump right back into bed and rescue yourself! It doesn’t get better than this!

On this blissful day in my cozy hotel room I teamed my one-buttoned red snazzy blazer with a white quirky crop top shirt and my skinny blue cuffed jeans. To keep it minimally chic, I accessorised my casual gear with a beige belt and brogues.
