Lee Jeans AW'16 - Series I - Woman! Iloveyou

Each day we spend our lives, interpreting almost everything, be it relationships, movies, books, art or humans!

You & I are constantly Interpreting and Re-interpreting! Just imagine if there weren’t a concept of RE-INTERPRETATION? We would live, day in–day out with fixed thought patterns, fixed beliefs and fixed emotions! In simple words we wouldn’t be living! Just going with the motion. Hey that thought actually reminded me of the 2006 zombie movie ‘Fido’. Have you seen it? 🙂

When Lee Jeans approached me with their Autumn Winter ’16 Campaign, I was quite impressed by the brand sensibility. Any campaign that ushers me to think and Re-think has me on!

The campaign is essentially about the idea of not just Re-Interpreting but also Re-discovering. The ‘RE’ is a real call to action to a generation, which is very responsive to these kinds of statements.

After an entire day spent in some soul searching and self-introspection, I chose the four ‘RE’s that matter to me and my existence. This blogpost features the first and second ‘RE’. Read On! 🙂

Life is a constant battle. The biggest one is the one with yourself! In this world, we are born and then we die and then we are re-born?? Not sure how much truth there is in the concept of re-birth but because the only truth we know is that this is the one life we have which makes it quintessential to live it the way YOU want to. I know it’s easier said than done but it’s never impossible as I speak from my own experiences.

I remember waking up one morning realising the things I actually want to do, the person I actually want to be, the decisions I actually wanted to take, the life I actually want to live.. In simple words, I wanted to be free of my old self and Re-Live the new me!

If you’re already living on your own terms then kudos to you! But if you wake up on a morning feeling like the way I once did, my humble advice to you would be to break free, trust in the universe and Re-Live Now!

In a recent magazine feature I was asked what inspired me the most? Coffee shops and a good cup of Cappuccino hands down. Its amazing how a cup filled with caffeine and the aromas of coffee beans can set my creative juices flowing. I see people walk in , people walk out and of course there are the ones like me who are stuck to their chair for hours like a wall graffiti doing their shenanigans. With every sip that goes down my throat, I am re-inspired. What are you re-Inspired by?

With the weather getting nippy, I decided to throw on this over sized super comfy sweat shirt over my super skinny mid rise blue denims, I slipped into my suede boots and off I was in my search! 🙂
