Blind Date ft. Avirate

When your friend plays cupid and sets you on a blind date, you’ve signed up for something girl! A dare game propelled me to go on a blind date with my friend’s brother’s friend who had a brother. Get the dope? Nope neither did I. Blind dates are thrillingly daunting & nerve wracking. Thrilling because you are going to meet someone for the first time and nerve wracking because you don’t know what to expect out of this set up.

You might have surreptitiously stalked him on Instagram or Facebook. But that’s about it! The sense of an evening filled with uncertainties got my serotonin rushing! With my hormones going everywhere I decided to head straight to Avirate.

Being the ‘urban fashionista’ that I am, I couldn’t think of anything but of the sensually fierce International high street fashion label – Avirate.

Avirate is popularly known for their textiles and fabrics, I chose a silhouette that was understated yet sophisticated. An outfit that will effortlessly exude a part of my personality on a day like this. I put my money on this monochrome architectural pinstripe patterned maxi dress that flows with the body making me feel ultra elegant.

Keeping my jewelry minimal, I adorned these pretty stone encrusted earrings. I accessorized my dress with a candy red envelope clutch and my wrist watch. Finally I smacked a crimson red lipstick & spritz my favorite perfume. Voila!

And just when the clock struck the magic hour , I spotted him! Wish me Luck! 🙂 🙂
