THE WINTER WRAP JACKET TREND

If you are a fashion enthusiast, there isn’t any denying that winters are apt for playing dress up! In this blistering cold and teeth clattering weather, I feel dead sore till I don’t fix myself with heady doses of caffeine.

Visiting Sirsa ( a pretty little town in North India ) during this time of the year compelled me to carry my pullovers, pashminas & jackets . Out of sheer luck I stumbled upon this gorgeous hand spun and hand woven lapel jacket just one day before I was leaving for Sirsa. My mind spun like a scrambled Rubik’s cube and I couldn’t wait to solve the mystery of how I would style this badass Jacket!

My Outfit Inspiration

This to-die-for wrapped silhouette jacket could be one of my best buys of the year 2015. I just love the way this silk cotton belted jacket embraces my upper body making my petite shoulders and not so petite waist look in proportion while also keeping me nice and toasty.

To enhance the intricate textures of this piece I styled my classic to contemporary jacket with an understated white button down shirt and blue high waist denims . I slipped into my need-of-the-season ankle boots and threw on my club masters. I picked my monogram companion and off I was walking like an Egyptian
