ONLY in Winter

This post was filmed in the crazy cold conditions of Jagraon, Punjab ( if you remember a wedding in my family brought me to this city). I worked on two fashion posts whilst my stay there. First being ‘#Four degrees of Trepidation’ and here comes the second one ‘Only In Winter’.

Tartan and Houndstooth are my favourites and when you have both of them on either sides , it can’t get any better! A Scarf is one such accessory that can be styled in different ways especially this one being so versatile.

Well the story of this warm two sided houndstooth/ Tartan scarf is quite a greedy one. The reason why i say greedy is because i bought it as a present for my sister only to realise that I should have picked one for myself, Alas it was too late! ( which technically doesn’t make me greedy if you think about it , just plain wishful thinking!)

I was thrilled to give it to my sister and she was even more thrilled to receive it but like every story this one had a twist too. ( I’m not talking about a Bollywood dramatic twist here 🙂 )

I was forced to steal the scarf, OK wait! let me rephrase, I borrowed the scarf (for a few minutes and don’t forget we are sisters .. Remember? ) since i couldn’t resist share this woollen scarf with you all and quickly filmed this post on the terrace of the house i was living in. To my surprise the walls complemented the entire ensemble, the grey textures added character to these pictures and highlighted the over all look.

I kept my ensemble casual comfortable and most importantly warm . I threw this two sided woollen scarf over a red hooded jersey top and a basic white tee as an inner. I teamed my navy blue skinnys with a pair of tan boots. Voila!

Thanks once again Dad! I surely must have tested his Patience, but he is such a cool guy and took wonderful pictures that are too close to my heart. Does that hint I am a family girl?? May be!
